how can I stop further submissions from coming in?

I understand that you do not want to receive any further submissions on one of your JotForms. You can stop receiving submissions either by disabling the form 

or by setting limits on submissions on your JotForm.

Once the form is disabled or limit is set to the form, the warning message set on the preferences shall be displayed when tried to access the form.
