All JotForms Suddenly Missing on Site

Asked by CreativeLifeCenter on February 18, 2015 at 12:46 PM

I assumed the role of updating the Creative Life Web site over a year ago. When I took over the site, it was using JotForm for all its' contact pages (there are several). In the past couple of days, all of pages that have JotForms are showing "Form not Found." To my knowledge, no one has changed anything on the JotForm account, and I haven't changed the pages, or anything having to do with JotForm.

These are just a few of the pages that use JotForm...

Every person on this page includes a link to a personal contact page with a now missing JotForm...

I'm trying to assess what has happened, and what it will take to resolve this problem quickly. There are at least 25 pages that use JotForm.

Another strange thing... when I access the account on JotForm, there are several forms referring to dogs and kennels, and I only see one form (prayer request) that appears to have anything to do with the Creative Life Web site. I've looked at this account before, and even while all the forms were still working on the site, I didn't see them listed on the account.

I see that these forms are in a different account (boxtopdesigns) and in trash folder. Hence you are seeing the error message while trying to access these forms. If you have access to this account you may restore from the trash folder or you may request the account owner to restore them.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

We can't get in touch with that person. They had a lot of trouble with the previous designer. Is there any way those forms could be moved out of the trash on that account and into the Creative Life account? If that's possible, it will save A LOT of time on our end (and billable hours for Creative Life). I would only have to re-link every form.

If not, I'll have to search every page of their site for JotForm pages, recreate every single form, and re-link everything.

Anything you can do would help.

It makes no sense that those forms would be in the BoxTopDesigns account, while several of BoxTopDesign's forms are in the account that Creative Life is paying for. There must have been some kind of mix up.

I think there is something mixed up between these two accounts. Since the forms are associated with another account, we cannot move out of that account without user's consent. However, if you can provide us little more information on the forms such as when the forms were moved to this account, if anyone else having access to this account to understand why the forms related to dogs and kennels existing in your account, may be the list of forms of yours that are missing would help us in getting in touch with the other account owner for a smooth transition.

We will wait for your response.

    Thanks!
