When I enter my email address, it does not show up in my email box.

Can someone tell me where the problem could be?

    Thanks

    Priscilla

Hi Priscilla! I took a look at your jotform's autoresponder issue and found the reason it was not arriving back at your email address is because you have not finished setting this up.

You need to set the Recipient Email to the Email Field on your jotform. Also, we recommend setting the Sender Email to noreply@jotform.com. Both of these can cause issues if not set up.

Please see this guide to learn more about Creating-a-Form-Autoresponder properly.

    Hi,

I have both of my forms set up following the instructions from this response. The form is working emailing both the submission notification and the 1st auto response.  I have two other autoreplies based on additional information being passed on to the form after it is submitted.

I have an administrator section with an access code and a field called Application Status.  When the initial form is submitted, it notifies the administrator and it includes an edit-link to modify the form status.

Once the administrator determines that this application is approved, he/she will click either an approved status or a more information needed status.  Depending on which of the status is selected, the auto respond is supposed to send an update to the applicant.  These last two steps are not working.  I am not getting the follow up/form update post the initial submission.

Any help will be appreciate it.

It appears that the issue is related to submissions editing. We do not send Autoresponders when submissions are edited, but we do send Email Notifications for edited entries. This is intentinal behavior, so the form users are not emailed when their entries are edited.

It means that you can replace conditional Auto Responders with Email Notifications in order to fix the issue.

On an unrelated note, the form feels a bit slow due to enabled Autofill option. You might consider deselecting 'Save on data changes' parameter and increasing 'Auto Save' time.

    Thank you.
