How credit for inviting a friend works...

    Hey there,

I love the way you allow for increase in limits when you invite friends and they sign up!!!
That's just really good business strategy.

I've been recommending you left right and center, because I'm so impressed with your offering.

I see though that there a couple of "friends", read "clients" that I know have signed up and yet they show as waiting.  I think that may be because they signed up with a different email address.  Many of my clients have multiple email addresses.

From now on I'll make sure I ask them what address I should use to invite them to products I recommend.

I was wondering if there is any way of recouping the 10 submissions for each of them?

I'm sure any one of them would be willing to email from both accounts to confirm they own both.

    Let me know.

And again, stellar job - your product rocks and I know that I'll only continue to love it more as you continue to improve on it!

Hey there Stace and thank you kindly for your generous comments about us, we're so very glad to hear about that from you.

If I am understanding you correctly when you mentioned recouping the 10 submissions from each of them were you referring to getting extra submissions for the completed ones if that is correct?

I checked your account limit and compared it with your getmore approvals from our system and I can see you're at 200 submissions which is exactly where it should be right now.

You can easily keep track of this from the getMore Page in your account.

Of all of your requests to your friends only 3 of those were completed.

Unless you meant that you wanted to "recover" or "undo" the ones that were not completed maybe? Please correct or confirm.

Also, please note that each of those invites should be for individual people and not on multiple accounts of the same person.

What I mean is two or three that are noted as “waiting” ARE NOT.

They simply registered with an email different from the one I sent the invite to when they clicked the invite and created their account.

So at least 2, maybe three have responded and created an account solely due to my suggestion with invite...

BUT they show as pending because they didn’t use the same email address.

    Make sense?

Feels like should get credit because they clicked the link not just because they created an account with that same email address.  I don't want to send the invite to all of their email addresses... they all have several.

Unfortunately, there is no way for support members to manually increase the submission quota.

I think that you are right, and at this time the system compares registration and invitation emails instead of the website referrers. I have attached a feature request ticket to see if we can improve the Invite Friends option to track the clicks and further registrations regardless the email addresses.

We will let you know if we have any updates on this. Thank you!

    Hi Stace,

It is implemented. So, if invited person uses different email than you use for invitation, we capture this and you get your submission increase.
