Having issues accessing CSS tags for widgets

Concerning theming widgets, it is very difficult to access the CSS tags for them to be customized so that the resulting form is consistent.

I am not quite sure that I understand this, but I presume that this is related to the elements and classes under a widget?

If not, can you please give us a bit more details in regards to this so that we can better understand it?
