Signature Widget and No ImageAsked by ckueltzo on February 22, 2015 at 12:32 AM
I am trying to get either of the signature widgets to send an image of the signature, but via fax and not email.
The user goes through and enters all the data, then signs the form at the end. I have it set to fax the end result as a "Text Mode" sheet and everything works except the signature. It just gives me a hyperlink to where the signature can be viewed.
Any way of getting the actual signature on the faxed sheet?
Unfortunately, text mode will only send the e-signature as a link instead of the actual image. Isn't it possible to use the HTML mode instead? If not, unfortunately, I'm afraid that there's no way you can have it as an image then. The e-signature will be submitted as an image and HTML is required to display it as an image in the notification/autoresponder email systems.
