ticket widget calculates price and integrates with paypal how?

I looked at questions posted on the ticket widget, and also at this link: http://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field but I cannot understand how to get a calculation of the total from the ticket widget and then send the user to paypal for payment.

We have many classes listed in the ticket widget and the price is part of the info. When I try to use the payment wizard it does not show any of those as an option to "get amount from". Can you tell me how to get this to work?

You should use our inventory widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/inventory.

Sum up the values using our calculation widget: https://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form. You should do the calculation as:

Multiply the item by its own price, enclose it with brackets.

Send the calculation widget to Payment field by following the instructions from this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field.

OK, I found that too after looking around. I have so many events to sell though, but will try tighten up the padding with css to make it not so spread out. The inventory list seems really suited to just a few items visually as is.

Do you have to create a new api key for each item for it to work? It seems when I don't that the counting is weird on subsequent items.

You can reuse the same API Key for each widget you will use on the form.

You can just use the duplicate action to duplicate the widget several times on the form (so it will use the same API key)

that's what I was doing and on the duplicates it is putting weird #s in as what is left, so something isn't right. I put in total inventory of an item as 36 and it shows 41.1

Could it be because there was previously a ticket widget in the same form, even though I deleted it already?

Does each item need a unique item name? ( I was trying to put prices there and some are the same, and then I was using the label to differntiate)

The inventory widgets in your form are working fine as of checking.

Once the form is submitted, the numbers left will be automatically deducted with the quantity you entered once you visit the form again.

With regards to the item name, it doesn't have to be unique. You can use the same item name you want.
