Use a show/hide conditional logic with the submit button

I need to have a required textbox on my form, with a label such as "Company Name:"

I want to have a checkbox underneath that, with text saying "I certify that I have permission to represent this company"

The checkbox should be unchecked, but the user should be prevented from clicking the "Submit" button unless the checkbox is checked (with a suitable warning).

The checkbox and its text should be as near as possible underneath the textbox above it.

    How can this be done?

I am happy to say that you can achieve this with the use of the show/hide conditional logic and adjust the spacing between fields. I have prepared a test form that matches your requirements.

    You can view it here:

You can clone it via URL if you wish and make further changes. Do let us know if further assistance is needed.

I have viewed the form you created, but cannot see how the 'vertical space' between the textbox and the line with the checkbox has been reduced. It is still much too big, and they look like 2 separate items, while what I wish is that the checkbox line be 'visually attached' to the line above it.

I cloned your form and attempted to use Designer>CSS to reduce both padding and margin to 'zero', here is the URL is my altered version of your form:

but I see no reduction in margin and padding.

    Further help would be appreciated.

I have decided to move your last reply to a new thread since that was related to the spacing of the fields and the alignment which is unrelated to the original topic of this thread.

    Here's the new link:

    Thank you!
