My configurable list no longer shoes the X delete button when I press the add functionAsked by guineapigme on February 22, 2015 at 10:19 AM
There no longer seems to be a way to delete the last entries of a configurable list since the new CSS code provided (or perhaps this is not the cause).
I would still like the feature to add and delete from the bottom of the list.
I checked the form you have provided and sorry to say I was not able to replicate issue.
Can you confirm if this issue still exist for you? If so, you can try clearing your browser cache to see if that will help. Do let us know the outcome. We will await your response.
Thank you for looking, but it is another configurable list ... the one that appears under the PROGRAM SUMMARY title which has 5 fields some on different lines.
Please take a look.
I checked your form and it appears that the custom CSS code that you have in the widget settings is pushing the remove button so far to the right that it is not showing on the form. I will be doing some checks to see if I can have this adjusted for you. Did you make any adjustments to the form prior this happening? If so you can revert to a previous version of the form. Feel free to provide additional information if needed.
I have made many edits since I last saw this feature work. I would not be comfortable reverting to a previous version.
I have been helped several times with this particular widget (and have another request in currently to alter label position). I hope the custom CSS code is not interfering with each new change).
Thank you for the update. I will be looking into both issues experienced with your form and as soon as I have found an appropriate fix for both, I will ensure I update each thread specifically. I will be in touch.
After carefully going through the CSS codes for your configurable list, I managed to develop CSS codes of my own to get your remove button back. It will no longer be to the side but below each of the entries.
You can view my cloned version of your form to see if what I came up with is to your liking: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/50535079041955
Please follow this link for the CSS Codes - you should use this code to replace the one you have now: http://pastebin.com/rq8tt92G

Thank you very much!! This looks great with the other change. Thank you for working on this. I hope my director likes it.
One functional question, if you press the + button to be able to add or get access to the delete function, there seems to be no way to get rid of the x's (which add length to the overall working list). Is there a way to click elsewhere to remove this delete mode??And then finally, a feature request, to make a configurable list really worthwhile, one really needs the + and delete feature for every entry. That is, one needs a feature to be able to add an entry between entries, not just at the end. Otherwise, an insertion means all sorts of rearranging. If this were possible, the configurable list would be very useful for people editing.
On behalf of my colleague, you're welcome.

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. You mean that you want to get rid of the X button that appears on the right side of the list?
If this is correct, this is not possible since it's an important part of the widget because it's necessary to have a delete button for each line since it's the only way the script would know which row needs to be deleted in case someone presses the button.
About your feature request, I've moved it to a separate thread so we can address it properly. You can find it here: https://www.jotform.com/answers/521328
