Change label position on special configurable list for certain items only to collapse overall footprint

Asked by guineapigme on February 22, 2015 at 12:19 PM

    Hi there,

You have provided me special code to put some of my configurable list items on a separate line.   Would it be possible to alter the position of the labels on the last 3 fields, Dance 1, Dance 2, and Dance 3, to be on the left side of the corresponding field, rather than above the field (in order to eliminate a lot of unnecessary white space).

I would prefer a look that aligned the Dance 1, Dance 2, Dance 3 labels with start of the Medley Description field above, but to have a visual space only between the Medley Description field, the first Dance 1 line, and between the Dance 3 line and the next configurable list entry

I am trying to have more of the list entries viewable in a less bulky way.

Thanks for any help on this.

In your previous thread, I provided CSS Codes to address the labeling issue (and fixing the remove button) in your configurable list. I understand that you would like each of your labels to be to the left of the each text boxes in the list but when I took a look at it, it is somewhat repetitive to have both the label Dance 1Dance 2 etc while displaying Dance Description in each of the text boxes.

I made some adjustments to the CSS codes to get rid of each of the labels for the text boxes. I then replace the text Dance Description in each text box to with Dance 1 DescriptionDance 2 Description etc respectively. With this method, you will eliminate a lot of unnecessary spacing in the list and it gives the form a nice clean look.

You can get this done in your existing form by following the instructions in the screenshot below.

Please let us know if you desire a different layout and we will try our best to assist.
