I am receiving submitted forms via email, however they are all coming across blank (in the fields that users fill out).  This is happening with all my forms ... please help!

Attached is a screen shot of the Contact form as received via email.

We are sorry for the inconveniences caused to you.

I have cloned your form, but I was not able to reproduce the problem from my side. Could you please delete the notification, and then re-create it? This will probably fix the problem.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

had a little look at this:

For some reason the email configuration has got a little jumbled up.

If you go to Email Alerts -> Notifications , inspect the email format & the variables it using. Your form isnt using any variables names used to represent fields that a user has filled.

Create the email template, i.e in your case, add fields for Name, Company & Testimonial.

Then in the answer field, click on the relevant Form Field name (on the right hand side), to retrieve the correct variable name for that field.

ON a cloned version of your form, I created the email template that probably are looking for:

If you have any difficulty recreating that, let us know & we can go into a bit detail on the method to help explain it.

    Users response:

Thanks for taking the time to look at this. I went in and recreated all my forms with the variables you suggested ... if you could check what I did and let me know if this is correct I would greatly appreciate it!

    Thank you,

    Looks good.

Proof always in the testing though :)

Just one note: On labels on the left hand side of the email template, I dont think the 'Your' Name & 'Your' Company are absolutely necessary, but that a purely aesthetic point for you to decide upon. Whatever text is in those labels will have no bearing on the functionality of the email notification. The important part is those variable names {yourName} etc on the right.

    Hope that helps.
