Conditional Logic Problems Hiding Forms

    Hello,

I am having difficulty using conditional logic on my form. I have a golf registration form. I would like to hide fields for the names of golfers until a sponsorship is selected. The number of fields that populate for golfer names is dependent on what package they select. Tournament sponsor gets 15, President's gets 10, all else get 5. The site is located at https://www.gsbcstl.org/register.

Thank you for any help, I am lost on this one!

    Thanks,

    Sidney

    Hello Sidney,

As I check your JotForm, I do not see any additional fields for golfer names on your JotForm. Did you delete the additional textboxes from the form? Have you tried adding conditions to the fields from conditions wizard?

Let us know if we can be of any further assistance. We will be happy to help.

    Thanks!

I did go ahead and remove the fields for golfer names, as it was not functioning correctly yet. I can choose Categories: Sponsorship, but it does not let me select from the sub items within that menu. I wasn't sure if there is a way that if they select tournament sponsorship 15 name fields appear, President's causes 10 name fields to appear, etc. At the same time, if they choose 2 tournament sponsorships, I would need 30 name fields and so on.

I was using the conditions wizard when I was trying to get this to work.

    Thanks!

I checked this some more from our end but I'm unfortunately I can't seem to replicate the same issue as you involving the sponsorship sub items that you mentioned.

Could you please let us know what browser|browser version you are using that it is not working on?

As for the issue with your name field I if you needed around 30 names that could take awhile so I would like to suggest that you try using the Dynamic Textbox Widget instead to work around that problem. You could set it to be your name field but users would easily be able to control however many names they really needed. It is just a suggestion though. Doing this the other way you would need to rebuild your conditional logic to get the names right testing it each time to fix it.

If you need more help with this either way though just let us know.

The sponsorship field itself is working fine. In the conditional logic wizard, it does not allow me to select quantities placed under sub-items as the subject of a condition. I am going to switch to the dynamic text box for now and see if this works for our client.

    Thanks!
