Few submissions are missing from the integrated Salesforce account.

While most of our applications are making it in to Salesforce, a few of them are not.  In other words, the integration is working in general, but I occasionally get email notifications for application forms that I don't end up finding in Salesforce.  Any thoughts?

    Hello thechevra,

This is strange that most of the submissions are saved to Salseforce but few of them are missing. We would like to check the records which are not being saved to integrated salesforce account.

I would suggest you to please let us know which submissions are not being saved in Salesforce and we will take a look.

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!

Hi... I've noticed 4 contacts that didn't make it into Salesforce (since then, I've put the 1st 3 of them into Salesforce via an independent Salesforce import):

    Daniel Gespass

    Eugene Brusilovskiy

    Rachael Kaufman

    Rachel Moran

I inspected the missing submissions but could not find a common denominator. Also they were made on different dates:

    2015-02-24 13:34:17

    2015-02-11 16:39:48

    2015-02-09 17:48:41

    2015-02-08 22:52:54

According to this thread there were some changes in the mapping/integration. Are these missing submissions coincident with changes on the mapping/integration? That could explain why they were missing.

We'll wait for more details to proceed.

Hi and thanks.  I don't think the mapping/integration factor could be the issue, because:

    1) I believe all of these missing submissions occurred AFTER we had last made any mapping/integration changes

    2) Other forms have come in successfully around the same time that these missing submissions did not

    Any other thoughts?

By reading the previous threads, it seems the missing submissions problem occur  after adding new fields into the form.

My recommendation would be to always keep a copy of original form and every time you apply a change, make a new version. Then integrate it with Salesforce. That way , you won't lose submissions after applying the changes, because the integration will be performed as a fresh one.

Thanks, Jeanette.  Based on my last comment/post, are you sure that's the issue?  As I had mentioned above, I don't think the mapping/integration factor could be the issue, because:

    1) I believe all of these missing submissions occurred AFTER we had last made any mapping/integration changes
    2) Other forms have come in successfully around the same time that these missing submissions did not

I could be wrong about #1 (I can go back and check the timing), but here are 2 new questions:

    A) Do you have tracking info that indicates that I am wrong about my point #1 above?

    B) How would your answer address what I mentioned in point #2 above?

    Thanks!

    When  you say

"Other forms have come in successfully around the same time that these missing submissions did not"

Does that mean that you also performed changes/updates on the "other" forms with Salesforce integrations, which you also re-mapped to SF and all the submission came in with no problem?

Whoops -- I think I used the wrong terminology (sorry).  I didn't mean "other forms"... I meant "other submissions", as follows:

Other SUBMISSIONS have come in successfully around the same time that these missing submissions did not

Any insights based on that revision?

Actually only the Rachel submission is very close with another one, but looking only at the numbers it is possible that the mapping changes could have affected only those submissions but we don't have the date/time when those changes were made, this is why we asked.

Do you know how many changes were made and the date/time they were done? Or can you please confirm the date where the last change/integration was done?

Thank you for helping us understanding better this situation.
