Emails from JotForm are going to spam - how to fix that?

Asked by Homeappraisalsinc on February 25, 2015 at 10:56 AM

Hi, I have added the ip addresses to my safe sender list in outlook. I have added jotform as a safe sender. But still most of my emails from the forms are going into SPAM. This is a deal breaker if you can not resolve this. I am losing business and will have to find another solution.

I see that you have posted the same question earlier this year and that my colleague has replied to you on it: http://www.jotform.com/answers/491008-How-can-I-stop-your-emails-from-my-forms-going-into-my-SPAM

Please do let us know if you did the steps he mentioned as well and lets keep everything on this thread from this point so that we can properly assist you.

    Now of interest is:

    1. Have you marked the emails as not-spam
    2. have you deleted any emails from jotform that were marked as spam

Now looking at some other threads that you have opened and your email log I think that I see the reason why this happens and that is the subject line such as this:

Street Address: 2*** S Belcher RdCity: ClearwaterState / Province: FLPostal / Zip Code: 33764Country: United States

I would suggest to keep the email as "Order Form Credit Card - {address:Street}"

This would make your system easier to understand that these emails are OK and still allow you to see the address - or some other field, but not all of them.

But it is important to teach it that the emails are not spam, so do mark all of them as not-spam.

Do try and let us know how it goes.

Ben, would you take a look at my subject lines as well to make sure this isn't an issue for me?

I'm having the same spam issue and it's very expensive and I want to find out why it's happening! Thanks!
