Why does PayPal Pro give me an Error about Merchant Country Not Supported?

    Estimados señores me pongo en contacto con ustedes porque una vez configurada la plataforma de pagos Paypal Pro intento realizar una inscripción (compra) y me sale el siguiente error: The merchant country is not supported.

    Me gustaría saber si existe alguna solución a ese problema o si por el contrario debería cambiar el tipo de herramienta de pago.

    I see that you are having an issue with using PayPal Pro and getting a Merchant Country not supported error when you try to use it.

    According to your IP our system indicates that you are from Spain which as far as I know of does not currently support the usage of PayPal Pro.

    Please see https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/howto_product_matrix/ for a list of the different countries supported by each of paypal's features.

    Paypal Standard however, is supported there so it would be best to switch to that one instead of pro if you want to stick with it.

    Other Suggestions that support Spain:

    - Authorize.NET

    - Worldpay

    - Stripe
