Autoresponders getting sent straight to Junk Mail, but they weren't beforeAsked by IndySOW on February 26, 2015 at 12:03 PM
Last year, we set up autoresponders that notified award nominees that they'd been nominated and provided application information using a JotFrom form. However, this year the autoresponders are getting dumped straight into junk mail. Is there a way to verify that our sending somehow so that doesn't happen? We have award nominees who aren't aware they've been nominated. No bueno.
Unfortunately it is up to the service provider whether or not something is interpreted as spam/junk. Having a sender name in your notification increases the probably it will not be interpreted as spam and setting your notification to be sent from "email@example.com" may get around current filters:
Having your users mark the emails as not spam, will also help to ensure they are not filtered in the future.
