How to get rid of the default value of 0 in the Mask Input widget?

Hello, I'm using the "masked input" widget as a phone number field so I want the default value to be blank but it continually reads a "0". Any way to actually default to blank?

Also, I'm using the time slot widget as an appointment tool. I've set it up so there are several time slots that can be selected (9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, etc.) but I want the user to be able to select a date first. I've inserted several different date widgets, trying to get them to work with the time selection to no avail. How can I get them to work together to decrease the "slots available" as they are selected and submitted?

    Thanks!

Sorry but base on my checks it appears that the Mask Input field will always store a value of 0 as long as a numeric mask is set for that field. I did some test and even though the was default value was not set - empty - 0 will appear regardless.

Here is a possible work around that you can explore. You can add a text box to your form and set a numeric input mark for that field.

I moved your other issue to a new thread so that it can be discussed separately to avoid confusion on this thread. You can track the updates made to that issue by following this link: http://www.jotform.com/answers/524947

Do let us know if the alternative provided is an adequate one.

    Thank you.
