Can I add a search fundtion to DropDown field?

Hi All I am having trouble with one of my forms I have 500 different numbers in one drop down box for our uses to select one number this is very time consuming to find the one they want and I was wondering if there was a function to search the number the user was looking for or do they just have to type the number in a text box

I understand what you mean and would like to offer a suggestion what to use.

I would suggest using our Auto Complete widget.

It will allow them to type the number and show them a suggestion from your list, so they can type their own numbers, but only select one of the available ones in your list helping you to avoid the errors in numbers.
