Update a form field value using text with conditions

Asked by JohnSSmith on March 02, 2015 at 12:43 AM

    The Condition -

    Update a form field value
Use text values from multiple fields, predefined text, or the result of complex calculations.

Am I missing something, or does this not work as specified.

The condition says "Use Text Values"

However I set up a test with two text fields, with the result to be pasted in a 3rd text field

But it does not work with text - only numbers.

How do I get it to work with Text?

Looking at your form, I understand that you want to add two text fields. To add the fields as text fields, it is required to select the option "Add field to equation as text by default" from Advanced options in the Condition wizard. Please see the recorded session below :

Hope this information helps! If you are referring to something different, please let us know. We will be happy to help.

    Thank you!
