Our forms don't immediately load because they include scripts from an "unsecure location" or something like that. I have to tell Chrome and IE to go ahead and load the scripts (easy to find in IE, not so easy in Chrome) before the forms show up. Is there a fix for this?

You are currently using a http embed code. Use https instead (secure embed code).
Here's how to get a secure embed code.
Take note that when you use secure forms, submissions will be counted as SSL Submission and it's limit for free user is 10 per month. See our pricing page for more details. https://www.jotform.com/pricing/

Thanks so much, it worked...but, I've built MANY other forms on my own account (this is a client) and this wasn't an issue. Is it because of something with their hosting situation? Im confused

HTTPS or secured websites can't load a non-secure external content. You have embedded the form using the non-secure URL to a secure website, that's why a security error pop ups when you visit the page.
I hope that answers your question. Thank you!
