How can I reference other forms based on conditions

Asked by cristiant on October 25, 2011 at 10:26 PM

I want to be able to create a form where I can enter a previous form ID and retrieve that form based on the ID. How can I do that? for example, testform1 has a unique ID of 1 and I am crearing a new form, to be able to grab user input for form ID, and do a lookup in my existing forms to match it, then display in a "preview" format that form.

    Hi cristiant,

JotForm is not optimized for such applications. The process that you described requires some level of backend integration (i.e. database integration) that JotForm does not have right now. In your requirement, the system will have to look at a database for a match and then let the form display the results or contents saved on that record ID when a user searches for a particular record ID.

We apologize if JotForm won't be able to help you any further for this form of yours. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
