is an address required to process a credit card payment?

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly.

Do you mean to ask if address is required to make payments using our built in payment tools? Except "Authorize.Net", none of our payment tools has any fields to collect address. I believe, address field is not required to accept payment in form.
