Is there a way that participants can save their forms before submit?

Asked by chicoctstudy on October 26, 2011 at 12:46 PM

Sometimes when participatns submit their forms, jot forms gives an error and as a result I lost my data. I am a graduate student conducting research and cannot afford to lose my data. I am also paying jotforms $9 a month for that. Please tell me if there is a  way to either 1: have participants save their data before they submit them. 2. any other way to fix this problem

Our apologies for all inconvenience caused. There's a way for participants to save their data before submission but do you have information on what the error states?

Unfortunately not! Because my participants closed the page!

    chicoctstudy,

as I suggested on your other post, please try using the http://www.jotform.com/form/xxxx naming convention in your script embed code.

This may help. Please keep us updated if many users continue to report issues with your form 'errors'

The exact nature and wording of any error messages would really help any future troubleshooting.

You can add abajans' suggestion to your form(s), so that if any future problems do arise, at least your users will be able retrieve some of the data they have entered.

    Thanks.
