Form Validation FocusAsked by Ctech on March 06, 2015 at 04:45 PM
The issue I am having with one of my forms is that when submitting the form and there is an error the form does not seem to focus and scroll up to the error. I have tracked the issue to <input name="formid" type="hidden".... /> field at the top of the form. Putting that just above the submit button seems to solve my problems. Will this cause any problems.
Changing the order of your elements will not affect the function of your form as the ordering is not important. As such moving that piece of code to the bottom, will not cause any problems.
To confirm, you have resolved the issue regarding the scrolling to the error? If not please not that this can not be done within JotForm. You can however get the full source code and add a script that will allow the form to jump to the error.
If you are familiar with coding, you can hire a web developer to have this done.
