How to count the number of entries in a Configurable List widget?

I am new to jotform and building my first form.

I have a configurable_list in my form.   I need to count the number of entries in the list in order to calculate another field that indicates the amount.  For example, the total cost = $1*number of entries.  How can I do this?

    Thanks

Unfortunately that is not possible to do in Configurable List at this time. You cannot use Configurable List Widget in Calculations.

The Calculation feature is readded as a widget and it can be applied only on following type of fields:

    1. Radio Button

    2. Checkbox

    3. TextBox

    4. Dropdown

    5. Text Area

If you want to use calculation feature and perform some calculations more details how to use it are describe in the following guide : http://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form

Let us know if you need further assistance.

For the meantime, I'll create a feature request for this so that our developers can take a look if they can create feature for calculations based on configurable list widget. But please do take note that I'm unable to provide an exact date to when this will be considered or implemented.

Only options for Configurable List Widget are described inside following article:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/282-How-to-Set-Up-the-Configurable-List-Widget

For now counter option do not exist. Only workaround you can use is to create your form with using fields like Radio Button,  Checkbox, TextBox, Dropdown or Text Area which can be used inside of Calculation Widget.

We already created a feature request for this so that our developers can take a look if they can create feature for calculations based on configurable list widget.
