Can I generate a form ID automatically?

Is there a way to auto generate the form ID when a submitter submits a new request?

Do you mean to say generate the form ID on every submission? Form ID is the same for all submissions of a particular form. If so, you can just paste the form ID manually in your form notification. Example while you are editing your form, you will see this URL in the address bar: https://www.jotform.com//?formID=50663641692964 the long numbers you see at the end is your form ID.

Or do you mean the submissions ID which generates unique numbers for each submissions? If yes, then simply add {id} variable in your form notification.

If you also want a unique ID number that increments on every submissions, use the Unique ID widget under Widgets section.
