Converting form results over to a legal application

    Hello,

I have created a form here: http://claimyourrental.com/ that when filled out needs to be converted over to a pdf or a legal document here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2y0qdts9mxh3s9m/residential_lease_application.pdf?dl=0

Is there a way to do this?  The default form submission will not be acceptable for the client.

    Thank you,

    Jesse

    Hi,

It is possible by including a PDF link of the submission in your email notifier and enabling the show header and text in the submissions. Here's how:

First is you need to add a PDF link on your email notification.Converting form results over to a legal application Image 1 Screenshot 40

Second is you need to enable the "Show Headers and Texts"

On My Forms, select the form and click the "Submissions" button.

Click the settings icon at the right and put a check on "Show Headers and Texts".

This will email your client a PDF copy of the submission, with full headers and text included, attached to the actual submission.

If this is not what you were looking for or if you have any further questions, let us know and we will be happy to help.

This worked. However, how do I now bring the header over to pdf that I created from the submission form email notification?

Do I have to add the header in the actual form builder?

The second part I referenced about including the headers and text in your notification should include all headers in your form.  If you need one included that was only included in your notification, then yes, you would need to create a header in your form in order for it to be included.  The PDF will not include elements that are only included in the notification.

I just talked with my client and we actually need the submissions to be integrated directly into this pdf here:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/2y0qdts9mxh3s9m/residential_lease_application.pdf?dl=0

I have been reading the forums of webmerge.  Is this the only possible way to do this?

    Hello Jesse,

Unfortunately, customizing PDF submissions is not supported at this time. The alternate solution is to use Webmerge that can inject submission data to your custom PDF. You may want to check the following article from our blog.

    Hope this information helps!
