    Hello,

Is there any way to disable a form at a given date/time? So for example, if I did not want accept submissions past 11:59 pm on 3/12/15, is there a way to do this in Jot Form?

    Hi,

Yes that is possible, you can set an expiration date for the form to be disabled.

Here's a screenshot to give you a guide:

I hope this helps. Do let us know if you need more information on this.

    Thank you.

Okay thanks.  So the form needs to close at 11:59 p.m. on April 21st.  I entered this:

    2015-04-21 23:59

So the form will close at exactly this time?

Based from the date and time format, Y-M-D H:M, it should.

However, I would recommend that you create some sample or test forms and see if it works as you expected, you can try the current date and time, try having a 2 minute gap and see if it disables in your end after that time.

    Kind regards

    Hello.

It seems that there have been issues with the setup of disabling a form with a specific date and time.

First of all, we were not aware that our settings were defaulted to Eastern Standard Time, so our form was actually disabled earlier than what we had intended it to be.

The second item is that we started receiving emails at 8:18 pm (PST)  that the link was not working when we had the time set for 23:59, which is 11:59 pm, so even if it wasn't on Pacific time, why was the link not working at 8:18 pm, which would have been 11:18 pm EST?

Lastly, we went back and reset the time to America/Los Angeles (which was the only suitable option we could find under settings) and changed the form setting to disable back to 23:59, and it still disabled before 11:59 PST.

I'm just confused as to why we had so many issues, even after changing the timezone. I wish we would have known about the timezone issues so we could have fixed it before we put time limitations on the form but even after we tried to fix it, we still had issues.

We upgraded our account, because we had multiple submissions coming in and we wanted to be able to control things like disabling a form at a certain time to cause less hassle and we are disappointed that it did not work and was not as intuitive as we had hoped.

Can you please look into this matter and advise?

    Thanks.

I tested several cases related to Expiration date form limit and I recreated problem with disabling form earlier than it is date/time set to. I will escalate this problem to our developers so they can investigate further and we will inform you via this thread once the problem is solved.

    Sorry for this inconvenience.
