Can I include a credit card input field in a secured form with using a payment integration platform like paypal?

I only wish to have people provide their info to me. I do not want to have them pay via the form.

Can this be done and if so, how?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi,

Though it is possible to collect this type of information we do strongly suggest against it.  The data is stored in plain text within your account.  Should your account be compromised, there is no barrier to stop your data from being read.  In any case, if you still would like to collect the data rather than process it, here is a quick guide on how to make the process more secure:

Essentially you would be collecting the data with normal fields and it would be submitted and processed they same way.  You would have a Name, Address, Email, then a credit card number field.  Again, we do suggest you use one of our payment processors, rather then collect the data.
