Request for the ability to auto-delete uploaded files

Hy, same here as mrpicketts: all files are still stored on jotform - even if they are transmitted to dropbox or deleted in dropbox. There is no possibility to have an auto-delete of submissions on jotform-servers. If you don't delete them manually, they will stay there forever.
We have a paid plan, so there is no need to limit us in choosing our own storage solution. please fix this - thanks!

Hi,

The autodelete submissions app should be able to handle this for you:

https://www.jotform.com/integrations/auto-delete-submissions

It will automatically delete your submissions from your Jotform account when they are received.

hy david,

thanks for your answer. but as mentioned in the thread I posted above, the auto delete only works for submissions - not the files. they are still there and remain there until world's end. sorry for being sarcastic but I don't understand why it is made so difficult to delete user submitted files...

I've attached a feature request to this thread so our developers can consider adding the posibility to auto-delete submitted files too.

Please note that this request shall be evaluated in terms of its feasibility and if it gets approved and implemented you'll be notified here.
