My old jotforms had required fields. When I created pdf's from them and email them to clients, those fields are no longer required. Is there a way for me to have required fields?

Required fields are not included on this version, I might ask our developers if this is feasible to be implemented.
PDF forms are intended to be used just like a hard copy document. If you want the required functionality, then all you need to do is to build a form and set the fields as required. Then send the link to your users so they can fill it out and submit it to you.
