I recommend adding an instruction to the PDFs that they must be filled out using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The form will not submit if you try to fill it out in a web browser.

Thank you for taking the time to make this valuable suggestion, the reason why we did not recommend this before is that our devs were testing other PDF viewers.

This will be now added to that blopost for sure.
