Required fields in my form are not required in the fillable PDF version

Recently I have noticed that you have put out a brand new feature to allow the ability of creating pdf forms that can be sent directly, and filled out then submissions will go directly to the submission category or excel, etc portion and I can export them.  However when I log into Jotform directly I have the ability to require certain fields be "REQUIRED" When I create a PDF version, I can submit that form with many of the required fields missing data.  Is there a fix for this? So that I can create and send a PDF form with the same required fields.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I did some testing and you are correct, required fields are not required in the fillable PDF.  I am not sure if this is something we can include or if this is a bug but in case case, I have forwarded this to our developers to have a look.  We will update you here as soon as we have and further information.

Required fields are not available in our Fillable PDF Forms, this might or might not be included as a feature in a future release.

However, you can just make an online web form, make the field required and have your users to submit it. Then you can download the PDF file of the submission.
