    Form embedded on Wix Site: Submit button not working on iPhone

    Hello. I am not sure whether this is an issue with the jot form or wix.

    I have a form set up on my six site that on a desktop works absolutely fine. However when viewed on an iPhone the submit button does not work. When you try to press it, it just goes back to the top of the form.

     

    Can you help?

    Can you please test the stand alone version of the form on your mobile?

    If the problem continues, I would suggest you make sure to to get only what it's between the <iFrame> tags and discard the code between the <script> tags.

    Hi,

    Have you tried following this guide on how to add your form in Wix.com? Here's the guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/70-Adding-a-Form-to-Wix-Site.

    You can also try changing the selected option in the "On Submission Error" value in your "Preferences".

    It is already on this in my preferences and I know how to add a form since I am already asking about my form.

     

    For some reason it is working fine on desktop but on the phone it is jumping to the top of the screen every time I click submit.

    You should try changing your iframe code from:

    <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="width:100%; height:4887px; border:none;" src="//form.jotformeu.com/form/23045796416357" allowtransparency="true" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" id="JotFormIFrame"></iframe>

    to

    <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="width:100%; height:4887px; border:none;" src="//form.jotformeu.com/form/23045796416357?nojump" allowtransparency="true" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" id="JotFormIFrame"></iframe>

    but do note that the 'jump' will still happen (the code should try to stop it) since your form is in an iframe that is within an iframe so every time you make a submission, the parent iframe (made by Wix) will resize itself and position the screen (jump) to the start of itself so that you can see the message.

    Hello. No still doing the same thing. the form is now bigger. I just don't get it. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

    I've cloned your form and tested it on my Wix website, I was able to replicate the problem and was not able to submit the form properly, when I click submit and did not fill out the required fields, it jumps to the top part of the page and it won't be scrolled down.

    I'll escalate this to our back end team so that they can further check, we will update you on this thread when we hear any news.

    Unfortunately there are no updates as of yet.  However, this issue has been assigned to a developer and has been given a very high priority.  Sometimes things do take a bit longer than we would like to address but hopefully there should be an update from the dev soon.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

    I see that ticket is still unresolved. I understand that this is already taking too long.

    I checked again the Wix website, right now what it does in my end is when you click the submit button, it jumps to the top or middle part of the page, it gives the mobile view a fixed height then removing the scroll at the side. 

    I have updated the developer assigned on this to see if we can get an update. Again, apologies for the inconvenience.

    No update. Wouldnt bother if I were you. I switched to a different form provider which works much better. nO ISSUES at all. Disgusted at jotform.

    @Huepper If you wouldn't mind creating a new thread letting us know which form you are working on and the page your form is embedded to, we will be happy to have a look.  The issue may not be the same as the one in this thread and if it is, we will be happy to open a new ticket to our developers.  This one does seem to have been missed.
