Will this work on a site created with Google Sites? If so, I would love to test.

This is a re-post of a comment on Wishbox is the Coolest

We are not sure about that. Can you make regular feedback buttons work on Google Sites? If you can get that to work, then Wishbox will also work on Google Sites.

I don't think the feedback buttons worked in the past because they involved adding script to the site. I don't think Google Sites allows custom scripts yet.

You can actually add javascript to Google Sites via custom made gadgets which is a straightforward enough process.

The problem is Google runs the gadgets/scripts in sandboxed windows.

If you put all your page content into a new google gadget, along with the Feedback/Wishbox code, then add the gadget to your Google Site, you may well be able to create a workable solution.

Here is an example Google Site, with a JotForm Feedback button added.

This is my Google Gadget xml -> http://hosting.gmodules.com/ig/gadgets/file/113061485722644906285/Feedback.xml

Google Gadgets Editor is here -> http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/docs/legacy/gs.html#GGE

We may be able to provide workarounds to get at least some Wishbox functionality into your Google Site, but hopefully my example gives you some kind of understanding of the limitations, you (and us) are working under getting our code to work on a Google Site.

Interesting workaround. I'll have to play with it. Thanks for the feedback, fxr.
