How can I create question dependancies?

Asked by AmyMarley on March 27, 2015 at 08:39 AM

    Hi Support

How can I create dependancies ?

Example below,'Are you sending an e-shot', 'Are you organising an event'

I only want the fields below these questions to be visible and required if the question above is answered yes.

    ---

I want certain fields to disappear/be required depending on whether the user answers yes or no. E.g Are you organising an event?

    See example here http://form.jotformpro.com/form/50853128346961

    ---

    Please help

There are 2 ways for you to accomplish your requirements.

    1. Using the Dynamic dropdown widget

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/dynamic_dropdowns

    2. Applying conditional logics

    http://www.jotform.com/help/57-Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic

    http://www.jotform.com/help/196-Hide-or-Show-Multiple-Fields-at-Once

You can choose the option "Require a form field" Based on another field, like on this form

I hope this helps with your scenario.
