Automatic Plan Upgrades/Downgrades

Do you do something similar to MailChimp where based on the volume of your transactions, your account is automatically upgraded or downgraded to the next plan?

If I move all of my forms to JotForm, I'm going to be fluctuating between 850 and 1150 submissions and payments. No problem going to Economy plan as required but it won't be at that level all the time.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Unfortunately we do not currently have automatic upgrading and downgrading of accounts based on usage.  You can increase your regular submission limits permanently by doing the "Get More" tasks in your account:

    https://www.jotform.com/myaccount/getMore

However this will not increase your payment/SSL submission limits.  The level of subscription can be changed whenever you would like, though this is up to the user.

That's an intriguing marketing/promotion approach. I can understand leveraging it to generate increased visibility versus an automatic upgrade process that would forgo the promotion.

    Thanks

We like to allow our users to know exactly how many they are able to receive and leave the package up to them.  Automatic adjustments tend to not be accepted well when people do not expect them.  Let us know if you have any further questions and we will be happy to help.

I can understand that (sort of like fixed versus variable rate mortgages). The auto upgrade/downgrade would be a great option for those who'd like that flexibility, especially if JotForm is integral to their sales completion.  I really do like the MailChimp model of scaling up or down depending on volume.

However, JofForm has proven to be a great product and probably sufficient to get me step up to the additional monthly cost.
