    Text area field: Not adding new lines when the Enter key is pressed on IE

    Asked by muckypuddle on March 31, 2015 at 05:00 AM

    One of our clients has emailed to let us know on FF36 and IE11 the 'enter' button in a Jotform textarea actually just produces a space. On Chrome it works fine. I can't find any other reports of this - could you assist?

    Thanks

    @muckypuddle

    We apologize for this inconvenience.
    I was able to reproduce the issue on my side using IE11 but not on FF36

    Let me forward this thread to our back end team so they can check it out.
    You'll be notified here once they have a response for you. Thanks.

    @CTec

    I see that my colleague Jan has already submitted your report to our back end team.

    Our team was able to solve this situation. I tested and text-area fields are now working normally on IExplorer and Firefox.

    Let us know if we can assist you further.
