Can we update Google Spreadsheet record upon submission edit?

Forms also need to be edited - the user would have to change their answers in the same row (not adding up a row...like it is possible with the Edit Response URL in Google Form) in the responses spreadsheet (I did read that it is possible, I just want a confirmation).

Yes, it is possible to use edit submission links with us too, see the next guide:

Edited form entries are being updated on integrated Google Spreadsheet.
