How do I get multiple results from only one slider using 'Sliders with calculated result'?Asked by Dan on April 01, 2015 at 06:15 PM
Hi, I'm pretty new to all of this, I want to create a simple widget to embed on my blog.
I'd like that widget to be a simple singular slider which when moved can calculate multiple results.
If the slider value is x then I'd like 5 separate results:-
Here is what I have so far http://form.jotformeu.com/form/50906610641348
Also, is there a way to remove the text 'First Slider'?
Any help would be extremely appreciated.
Do you still need help on this? It seems you figured it out already, one Slider widget, with 5 separate results:
Hi. Yes. Kinda figured it out. Not really too sure how but it does what I want.
It would be nice to have the integer under the slider gone, but the only way I can find to do that (remove #1 for the slider value) seems to mess with the results of the 5 calculations. But no biggie.
Thanks for checking in :-)
Are you referring to the text under the slider widget?
I cloned your form for testing purposes, I removed the text value in the "Result Text" and everything seems to be working fine.
Here's the cloned form without the integer under the slider widget: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/50909369094970?. When making changes, please do click the save button and try clearing your form's cache just to make sure.
Do let us know if its working as expected.
Yes that did remove the unwanted integer from being displayed. Thank you. Strangely I did clear the 'Result Text' field previously but with no effect. FYI, I was removing it using the 'Result Text' tab/button (which can be seen just behind and to the right of the window in the above picture you supplied); once I made the change in the window as you have done then the integer disappeared.
Thanks so much for you help. Wishing you good internet karma.
Thank you for the update Dan. It seems that the update did not reflect in the same manner from within the same option on toolbar as it did once set up in wizard.
We will be checking that to see if there are any issues, or if it might have been a temporary issue and add a fix if needed.
I have also forwarded your thankful wishing to to my colleague Charlie as well and in his name you are welcome :)
Do let us know if you have any further questions and we would be happy to answer them for you. :)
