How to set up conditions to show hidden field?Asked by clearenergy on April 03, 2015 at 10:57 AM
I have a dynamic form. I have set by default all the fields except the opening one. When I set conditions to make invisible fields viable based upon the result of radio boxes, nothing happens.
Please note that if you use Hide field option
that the field is set as always hidden.
What this means is that you can not make it visible with conditions any more.
Now our system is smart so you do not actually need to hide the fields, just set the show properties in your conditions.
Wondering how does that work?
Basically if the field should be visible / shown when certain conditions are met, it means that the field(s) should not be shown otherwise, so it hides them for you.
What I usually do is to simply use show option and not use the hide option at all - unless it is actually needed to cancel the show option at certain points.
