Saving forms to continue later

    Hello

We would like to know if we can have the same feature as was in Forms Central whereby a Save Link is permanently on the screen within the form and down the bottom right side.

With Forms Central, the system would create the unique form link for you, no need to go setting up one form to send you across to another form with a unique link. I would suggest perhaps every Forms Central form had a unique code and could easily be saved.

With the way we use the forms, there is often a need to start the form for the customer, then save it, send the link to our own email address or an admin email, create an email to the client to tell them their form has been started and saved for them to complete later. We set all those to a 28 day saved in system time frame.

This feature is sorely missed in the JotForm product. We have tried to replicate it using one short form which creates the larger form but it is not practical in most circumstances.

Can we please investigate how Forms Central Save Form before submission worked and replicate that in JotForm??

    Hi,

If you would like your users to save the progress of their form and continue later before submitting then you can choose methods:

    1. You can save the form using the session of it and using the email address as the key identifier, here's the guide: http://www.jotform.com/features/save-and-continue/

    2. You can also use the Auto Fill feature that will save the data to the local storage of the users browser, here's the guide for that: http://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature

I hope that helps. Do let us know if you need more information on this.

    Kind regards.
