Source Code conflicts with other javascript on page

Asked by ohitscha on November 04, 2011 at 02:19 PM

Hi! I have another javascript on my page and the source code doesn't work(meaning it doesn't do the validation, CAPTCHA, although the form is there) when it's placed on top of the other JS code(I have the 1.5.2 jquery on the page and another javascript). It does work perfectly though when I put it below this other JS code, but the thing is the other javascript isn't working. So when one works, the other doesn't. So I figured it was conflicting with each other.

I tried other options but the embed code doesn't work when loaded in Firefox. It loads but suddenly just shows a white background page. Though I'm pretty sure it works on other browsers 'cause it did work on Chrome. My last resort is iFrame, but the form doesn't update how I customized it to be on JotForm(which is very little, like the transparent background and font color).

I wonder how I would go around with this. Thank you!

There is compatibility issue with jQuery and the Prototype framework that JotForm is using. I am sorry if the iFrame method will not be sufficient with the setup you desire. Please try some other plugins as others were able to make some things work by meeting the conflict head on.
