Question on downloading CSV files.

When I export my form submissions to a CSV file, JotForm downloads the file to my Browser's download location.

Is there a preference in JotForm so that I set the location and name of the download? I'll be collecting data on a daily basis, and would like to put the file in a specific location and add a date as a suffix eg 'Contact-Form.csv' would become 'Contact-Form_2015_04_09.csv' and be downloaded to C:\MyFolder.

Another application would then collects the correctly dated file and processes it.

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

Per your request, date will be added to default CSV filenames. However, I can't yet see a method to download into a custom folder using a browser, as this is fixed by browser's own security settings.

On the other hand, you might like to use JotForm API in order to get and process submissions automatically. Would it work for you?

    Kind regards
