A way to get kids details in the form and have them into its own cell in the excel file

    Hi,

I have a registration form where parents can sign up their kids for our program. Each parent can sign up multiple kids, but we need to collect various details about each kid.

I have tried different matrix widgets, but the data in excel shows up bunched together in one cell. Is there a widget I can use so that parents can add as many kids as they want, inputing various fields per kid, and so that each data point becomes its own cell in excel?

    Thanks for your help!

    Andrea

    Hi Andrea,

That's how the data will appear in the excel file for now. I can't think of a possible way other than using our show/hide conditional logic. This method requires you to add a set of fields for the kids and show them based on the parent number input.

    or

Well, this method defeats the purpose of adding contents dynamically.

Or, you can also use Matrix field with textbox input type:
