    Hi,

My form in jot forms has  a column date the date is in the  format of  m/d/year

My excel file has the format of m/d/year

When I import it changes the date to d/m/year

How do I keep the format the same

Unfortunately there is no option to set the Excel report date format and the same applies to the Excel of the submissions.

What you can do however is to download it and then make the change from within the Excel to match the data of your choice.

So I cannot change the jot form date format

to m/d/year. That seem like a simple command

At this time this is unfortunately not possible Jamie, but I will raise this to our developers as a possible feature in the future.

It does not mean that it will be implemented, nor that it will be soon, but as soon as it is, you will know about it through this thread.

This is a really big problem. My costing is based on dates now jot is changing my dates

fro 3/2/2015 to 2/3/2015 for example.

While I understand what you mean, the only option for now would be to click on the column header after you download the Excel file and set the date format directly on entire column.

That requires few clicks and will allow you to continue working on everything as before until our developers introduce this as a feature.

I am having the same problem!  Has this been fixed yet?  If not, I will be pulling out of JotForms because this is a function WE MUST have.  How do you get your data range functions to work if the date formats are changing once they reach excel???
