Why is my account disabled?

    Hi there 

     

    It says our account has been disabled, however we should have 1000 submissions per month?! Can you please get back to me ASAP on danielg@together-fundraising.com

    Hello Dan,

    Upon checking your account, I found that you have exceeded the allowed submission limit. Only 1000 submissions are allowed in premium account but you seems to have received 10001 submissions already.

    Your form "Recruitment Referral" seems to have received over 9900 this month. I am not sure if this is spam submissions you have received. All submissions seems to have been received from the same IP address "203.111.224.64". I have gone ahead and reset your account's submission counter. All your forms are now enabled and active. 

    You may like to check the following options to prevent your form from receiving spam submissions:

    #1. You can add captcha field in your form. This should help you in case there is an automated attempt to send spam.

    #2. You can take advantage of our unique submission feature to block multiple submissions from one system of one IP address by setting the "Loose check" or "Strict Check" respectively. Here is a guide to help you set unique submission:  http://www.jotform.com/help/64-How-to-Set-Unique-Submissions-on-a-Form 

    #3. You can also use our unique question feature to prevent from submitting duplicate submissions. Example: You can set one of your forms question (like cell number or email address) to be a unique question. This wiill not allow a user to use the same cell number or email address to submit your form.     Hi and thanks for your reply. 

     

    That sounds like an extraordinarily large amount of recruitment referrals to me - so I'm guessing that it's spam! 

     

    I have checked and it's all working now, thanks for your help with this.

    That is correct. All the submissions you have received in this form and that too on a single day seems spam submissions. That is the reason why I activated your account immediately.

    I am glad to know that your forms are working fine now.
