Can I choose the fields displayed in calendar report event descriptions?

When embedding a calender report, once the events colored circle is clicked it opens up the event description. The event description lists all the information collected. Is there a way to edit what information is shown in the event description in a calendar event so not all the collected information is displayed? Eg I only want the name and date shown, not all the contact information.

Also it would be nice to have the option of showing a submission field (e.g. someone's name) as a heading instead of the calendar dot on the calendar - similar to this request.  I'm trying to use the calendar report as a way to display who has registered for events - and calendar reports almost work quite well for this.
