I have a table inside my form and I want people to only be able to select 1 "first choice", 1 "Second Choice" and 1 "third choice" for classes offered
How do I limit people to only choosing one "first Choice" class?

Hi,
Please check this cloned version of your form: http://www.jotformpro.com/form/51026574072955. If this is how you want it to offer, then just simply change your Input Type from Checkbox to Radio Button:
Thanks

I need people to only be able to choose one box in the 1st choice column, then one in the 2nd choice column. That being said, I also need the radio button so that they can only choose one in the row also. Can you help with that?

Hi,
So you want to mix Checkbox and Radio button in the Matrix field? Unfortunately, it's not possible. In my clone version of your form, for each row, you can only select one choice, either 1st, second or 3rd. I think that's how you want it. Kindly check that and let me know.
Thanks

Thank you for your help. I don't want to mix check box and radio. I want the radio button. I need to have the form so in the table a person can only check one box per COLUMN and one per Row.

Hi,
Unfortunately, it is not possible right now, what you are looking is to limit the selections BOTH in the column and in one row. Which I believe means that one of the item choices will be selected only ONCE. One time in a row and one time in a column.
So basically, one item can only be selected in one column, AND one item can only be selected in one row. This is not possible in the Matrix table, but there might be a way if you will be using plain text boxes and using the Conditions, I'll try to find a workaround and will let you know.
Kind regards.

@DoraAlmassy
Currently, we haven't found a workaround but you can interchange the Columns to Rows and Rows to Columns to limit the answers. Here's an example:
To better assist you and discuss the setup you have, I went ahead and opened a separate thread for your concern. Please refer to this link: http://www.jotform.com/answers/675001. We will address it shortly.
Thank you.

Can I have another "Requered completing question" answer?
this would eliminates the need of composing several fields into one.
"Requires only one answer for the whole matrix"?
Or instead of Matrix it could be done at the Multiselect Grid" widget?
And the last, can I pass along the rox/column (RC) values of the choice? for instance
11, 12 ... 1n
21, 22 ... 2n
m1, m2 ... mn
