    Hi,

The radio button type is for single selection only. Perhaps, you want to let users select Option A in the first row, but not in the second row? Is this correct?

You have this form: http://www.jotform.us/form/51024728376153 with the Configurable List widget. You have "Billing" with Radio Button type.

Please explain further if the above is not correct.

    Thanks

that is correct. if a user selects "billing" in row b,  it should deselect from any other row. the user would only be able to select "billing" in a single row.

    thanks!

    Hi,

Unfortunately, that is not possible. A workaround would be to use a textbox type and let users input what department the person belongs to in that row.

    Thanks

ok. is it possible to pull reference data from the text fields "Name" and make a drop down with the reference data from that field?

this way we can have a drop down under the lines/matrix explaining to select the Billing Contact.

    thanks,

Do you want to populate your dropdown based on the selection of another field? Unfortunately populating the dropdown dynamically is not possible but if the options of dropdown value will not change, you can set dropdown with fixed values.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

i would like to populate the dropdown with the data captured in the "Name" text field.

would this work if we had a second page of the form?

    thanks,

Considering that populating the dropdown dynamically is not possible, if you want to use dropdown only solution you can have is to have dropdown with fixed values.

It will not work in any case.

Also you can use conditional logic 'Update a form field value' but this conditional logic is working with field types like Text Box, Email, Text Area and Address.

More about conditional logic you can find in following articles:

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
